Tequila Poker is a unique card game combining two game modes, High Tequila which is a high/low type game, and Tequila Poker which is a poker style game. After a week of rumours, PartyGaming's founders finally managed to offload a combined 5% stake in the company for a total payout of £232m (US$427m).

The 116p price of the shares and the number sold were lower than expected as the company blamed the current stock market volatility.
Combined, the founders still hold 65.7% of the company and the free float has increased to 28.1%.
The sell-off comes less than a fortnight after it was announced that Dikshit and Bhargava are to leave the board of the egaming giant.

Dikshit will take on a role within the company as head of special products while Bhargava is to leave the company later this year.

The number of shares sold was reportedly scaled down from a proposed 350 million.

The timing of the sell-out ahead of legislative moves later in the year in the US caused some comment, but analysts said it was only to be expected at some point. "People always get nervous when founders sell out, but these people have to diversify their wealth portfolios," said one. "Certainly, it is not because there is any slowdown in growth. I really wouldn't read much into it."
